The Change Health Community Program (CHCP) is a program based out of the University of Alberta. It is a preventative, community-focused program that helps families re-learn healthy living. Each week will consist of a 1.5 hour cooking class followed by a 1-hour mental health workshop with a psychologist, art class, swimming time or family gym session.
For Fall 2024, we will offer this program at the Clareview Recreation Centre. Session dates are October 7, October 21, November 4, November 18, December 2, and December 16 from 6 – 8:30 PM. It is open to the public and family can include parents, partners, grandparents, caregivers etc. Please fill out 1 registration per family. There is a $60 cost per family for all six sessions.
